LtGen. John “Glad” Castellaw, USMC (Retired)

Glad graduated from The University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM) with a degree in agriculture and a commission in the Marine Corps. Retiring after 36 years of service, he has become recognized as a national security expert. He is a teaching fellow at UTM, has testified before a Senate Foreign Relations sub-committee on food security, and speaks in various venues on the impacts of climate, food, and energy insecurity. Among his affiliations are the Center on Climate and Security, the American Security Project, the US Global Leadership Coalition, and Environmental Entrepreneurs (E2). Castellaw provides commentary for various media outlets and has appeared in a National Geographic Network series on climate security.

Derick Seaton

Capt. Derick E. Seaton, USAF (Retired)


Executive Vice President

Derick enlisted in the United States Air Force following high school. He earned multiple aviation maintenance certifications and qualifications during his 14 years service as an enlisted aviation technician. In 2000, he received his commission and designation as an Aviation Maintenance Officer. After retiring, Derick worked with the ISR Group, a provider of UAS (drone) services to the military. There he was responsible for safety and compliance. He is on the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) Aviation Advisory Board and is the State President of the Air Force Association. 

In 2014, he helped LtGen. Castellaw establish Farmspace Systems, LLC.

Jerry Dunlap

Dr. Jerry Dunlap DPh, SVP/Business Manager.

Jerry is a pioneer in the development of the internet. In 1995 he co-founded an internet connectivity startup, ISDN-Net, the first in TN, recruiting Gibson Guitar as their first customer. With this first Linux-based firewall, Jerry generated a rapid rise in revenue and customer base with the company named in 1997 the fastest growing in Middle Tennessee. Jerry co-owned 5 data centers in TN and oversaw, as CEO, 5 profitable acquisitions growing them to a value of $13M before selling all ISP assets in 2012. An experienced and proven entrepreneur, his association with Farmspace Systems, LLC began in 2015.
